The meeting of MASP film club on 26 November will be associated with Yevgeny Barsky's exhibition The Star Matter. This time we shall show Werner Herzog's documentary Into the Inferno. It was made by the German film director in 2016 under the impression of the book Eruptions that Shook the World by British volcanologist and Cambridge University professor Clive Oppenheimer.

The investigative film follows people who live near or study active volcanoes around the world. They are on the verge of life and death, as if hostages of nature, because fire can blaze up any time not asking what a person is doing here. Their world is the here and now, the very carrion, lava, magma and thousand-year-old ash.
